Ben Harrison - Head Chef and his team, pride themselves on creating fresh, tasty food and providing good value dishes that not only reflect the changing seasons but wherever possible are obtained from local sources.
You can't get any more local than the Garden itself and Ben works closely with the gardeners and volunteers of the Edible Gardening Project at the RBGE to ensure we have plenty of and a wide variety of freshly grown leaves and vegetables for inclusion in his menus.
Within the Gateway Restaurant itself, we provide a range of menus throughout the day all year round which are changed seasonally and hopefully provide a selection which meets both traditional and more adventurous palettes.
Please don't hesitate to contact us or let us know if you have any specific dietary requirements, we have a good range of items readily available for vegetarian and gluten intolerant visitors and can easily prepare dishes to meet other specific needs.
